Le Slimana: the stylish escape for May bank holidays

Nestled in the heart of Marrakech, Le Slimana is the perfect place to get away from it all. Sunshine, refinement and inspired cuisine.

A charming Moroccan home

Housed in a former residence of Sultan Slimane, Le Slimana blends local heritage with sleek design.
The space, spread over three floors, is reminiscent of riad architecture. Every nook and cranny has been carefully thought out.
The founders collaborated with Moroccan craftsmen to create a unique ambience, between tradition and modernity.
Raw materials, hand-crafted tableware and poetic details. The place soothes and inspires.

Three floors, three atmospheres

On the first floor, the jazz bar invites you to relax after a trip through the medina. Cocktails and mocktails flow freely.
Upstairs, the main restaurant offers an elegant lunch, sheltered from the sun. The view over the patio is captivating.
Upstairs, the rooftop is a real gem. With mint tea in hand, you can admire the rooftops of Marrakech and the Atlas mountains in the background.
Everything has been thought of for comfort: even Berber hats are provided.

Local cuisine reinvented

The menu is inspired by Moroccan recipes, particularly from Fez. The chef revisits them with audacity.
Moroccan tapas get the ball rolling: zaalouk, aniseed gazpacho, melting briouates…
Then come the signature dishes, a blend of tradition and creativity: vegetarian couscous, lemon tagine, gnocchi with hummus.
Sweet treats include orange blossom tiramisu and pistachio crème brûlée.
Drinks follow the same spirit: homemade smoothies, iced teas and vitamin-packed cocktails.

A continuous, lively address

Slimana serves non-stop from 12pm to 11pm, a rare luxury in the medina. Perfect for late brunches or tea times.
Moroccan pastries sit alongside house cocktails in a soft, welcoming atmosphere.
The central location makes for a gourmet break between two visits, just a stone’s throw from the Jardin Majorelle.

A local concept store to explore

On the first floor, a boutique showcases Moroccan handicrafts. Dishes, spices, textiles, everything is handmade.
The site supports young Moroccan designers. You’ll find unique objects to take home or give as gifts.
A refined souvenir that extends the Slimana experience right into your suitcases.
