Cinema returns to the Louvre this summer (and reservations are already open)

The seventh art once again invites itself to one of Paris’s most prestigious venues. After a year’s absence, the Cinéma Paradiso festival returns in force for its 5th edition, from July 2 to 5, 2025, in the heart of the Cour carrée du Louvre.
A unique cinema experience at the museum
The brainchild of the mk2 group, Cinéma Paradiso has established itself as one of the most eagerly-awaited cinema events of the summer. With free screenings, live concerts and a summery atmosphere, the event combines culture, entertainment and gastronomy in a unique heritage setting.
Once again this year, festival-goers will be able to sit under the stars, facing a giant 24-metre screen. To (re)discover great cinema classics. After a 2023 edition dedicated to the Italy of dreams and reality(Fellini, Scorsese, Clément), the 2025 vintage reserves a selection as eclectic as it is cinematic.
Tribute to David Lynch on closing night
A major premiere has been announced: the screening of Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me, a tribute to David Lynch, who passed away earlier this year. This bold choice heralds a demanding program, details of which will be unveiled in June.
And as usual, the festival will offer much more than just cinema. Discussions with filmmakers, live concerts, electro DJ sets and street food will also be part of the program. Previous editions have featured Breakbot & Irfane, La Femme and Nicolas Godin.
How to get involved
Admission to the festival is free, but registration is required. Pre-registration is already open on mk2festivalparadiso.com. A word of advice: don’t delay, places are at a premium.
