Jardin Marmottan: Paris’s most elegant hidden pause for summer 2025
Luxury is no longer confined to the gallery. With its ephemeral café, the Musée Marmottan Monet transforms its garden into a cultural refuge. A gentle, local response to the desire to disconnect in the middle of the city.
A discreet oasis in the heart of the museum
From May 20, 2025, Le Jardin Marmottan reopens for its second season. Nestled in a space normally closed to the public, this café-lounge offers an unparalleled view of the mansion’s interior façade. Discreet luxury, off the beaten track.
The setting? Calm, green and soothing. The furnishings: 50 seats, divided between garden lounges and chiliennes. An atmosphere designed for savoring the moment.
A short, neat menu
Le Jardin offers a simple, refined range of homemade gourmet foods. Hot drinks, original ice creams, daily specials. All carefully prepared by a local artisan baker. A delicious way to extend your visit. And to reconnect with a slow-burning idea of pleasure.
Culture and conviviality on the program
Every Thursday at 7pm, the Jardin hosts a series of summer meetings. Authors, artists and historians discuss Impressionism and heritage. Guests include Laurent Manœuvre, Éric Roux-Fontaine and Clotilde Scordia. A program that’s accessible, demanding and warm.
A jazz garden for the Fête de la musique
On June 21, 2025, the Daniel Barda Quartet will install its brass instruments between the flower beds. From Duke Ellington to Fats Waller, the Garden will vibrate to the sound of the 30s.
A joyful nod to New Orleans, under the leaves of impressionist Paris.
Special attention for children
From Tuesday to Saturday, festive snacks are offered for 4-12 year-olds. Each session begins with an animated visit, followed by a snack. Capacity: 12 children. Reservations required one week in advance.
Starting in September, snacks will be offered on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
