Royal Film Club: the gourmet cinema that delights Parisian Sundays
What if your next cinema session turned into a sensory getaway? The Royal Monceau’s Royal Film Club redefines the Parisian Sunday afternoon.
The luxury of the 7th Art, starred version
Housed in the Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris, the Cinéma Katara is unlike any other cinema. With its 99 XXL leather seats designed by Philippe Starck, it offers spectators a high-end immersion in the world of the 7th Art. Equipped with the latest digital technologies (2D, 3D, 35 mm), the venue is already considered the best private cinema in Europe, according to Gilles Jacob, former president of the Cannes Film Festival.
But the Royal Film Club goes even further. It offers an exclusive format, open to the public one Sunday a month, combining film screenings with a refined gastronomic experience.
A formula that combines cinema and pastries
From 3:30 pm, guests are welcomed in the palace’s VIP lounge. Adults are offered a glass of Champagne, while younger guests enjoy specially adapted drinks. Then it’s off to the dining room, where the palace’s Pastry Chefs, led by Yazid Ichemrahen, offer a basket of sweet treats, popcorn revisited and other surprises.
The session starts at 4pm in a hushed atmosphere, ideal for a moment with family or friends. A suspended Sunday, where cinema rhymes with elegance and comfort.
Signature interactivity
Another original feature of the concept is that the film shown is chosen by the public. An Instagram poll allows customers to vote for the title of the month, reinforcing the club’s community spirit. It’s a way of creating a bond between the hotel and its customers, while ensuring that the programming is accessible, intergenerational and festive.
A winning duo: brunch + cinema
A new formula not to be missed: for all Sunday Brunch Royal bookings, customers benefit from a 50% discount on the Royal Film Club. The perfect opportunity to extend a gourmet moment with a cinephile interlude. From the table to the dark room, we’ve thought of everything to make Sunday a day of celebration. Prices: €25 for children (under 12), €45 for adults. Affordable luxury in an extraordinary setting.
