These rooftops are the temples of Parisian summer
The skies over Paris have never been so coveted. This summer of 2025, Parisian rooftops are reinventing themselves as open stages, blending cutting-edge mixology, auteur cuisine and spectacular panoramas. Here are five not-to-be-missed terraces.
Le Toit de la Tour d’Argent : Heavenly Paris
If you had to choose just one, this would be it. Le Toit de la Tour d’Argent offers a breathtaking view of Notre-Dame, the Seine and the Haussmannian rooftops. This confidential hanging garden blends flowers, herbs and rough stone, in a setting that seats just 30.
The cocktail menu, designed by the in-house mixologists, flirts with the bold: Sunset Negroni with tomato and sage, Happy Normandie with Calvados and Benedictine, or Mango Mac with Macallan whisky and Thai basil. All accompanied by haute couture cuisine by Yannick Franques.
Bonus: every Thursday night, DJ Jessy takes to the decks for an electrifying sunset vibe.
Villa Minuty at Brach Paris: Saint-Tropez at the top
At the top of the Hôtel Brach, designed by Philippe Starck, the prestigious Minuty estate takes up summer residence. In a setting inspired by the Presqu’île tropézienne, the Villa Minuty offers an immersive tasting of its Minuty Or and Minuty 281 cuvées, accompanied by tapas by the winemaker: fig tapenade, artichoke confit, or peppers stuffed with goat’s cheese.
A tribute to the French aperitif, from 5pm to midnight, in a sunny, hedonistic setting.
Molitor: the festive epicenter of the 16th arrondissement
The legendary Molitor rooftop reopens in style, with a summer menu designed by chef Tony Goncalvez. On the menu: Mediterranean cuisine, dishes to share, and sweets by Camilla Dambrosio.
For the 3rd year running, St~Germain invites itself to the party with a menu of floral, sparkling and visually impeccable cocktails. The rooftop becomes an olfactory laboratory where mixology and food pairing meet in a sunny, resolutely stylish atmosphere.
Dame des Arts: the 6th district brightens up its skyline
Nestled atop a brand-new neo-Art Deco hotel, the rooftop of the Notre-Dame des Arts bar offers one of the finest views in the Odéon district: Notre-Dame, the Eiffel Tower and Saint-Germain, all in one panorama.
The menu focuses on a few well-crafted cocktails, to be savored in a gilded, elegant, almost surreal decor. A true confidential jewel, like few others on the Left Bank.
Roof – Hôtel Madame Rêve: a hanging garden in central Paris
Perched on the 4th floor of the Hôtel Madame Rêve, ROOF is a cherry-tree garden with a direct view of Saint-Eustache, Notre-Dame and the Eiffel Tower. Benjamin Six’ s signature cocktails, champagnes and sharing plates make up an elegant and convivial score.
The mood? Chic without arrogance, poetic without overacting. And for those in the know, don’t miss the two other terraces on site: La Plume (a green restaurant) and Kitchen, discreetly nestled below.
