A simple way to get away from it all in Paris: a leafy courtyard in the heart of the 2nd arrondissement. With the return of fine weather, Dépôt Légal unveils its confidential terrace, nestled in the vibrant Palais-Royal district. A place that combines gastronomy, calm and elegance, far from the hustle and bustle of Paris.

A hidden address where time stands still

From dawn onwards, the terrace awakens to the rhythm of the city: breakfast in the shade of the foliage, morning newspapers, the murmur of passers-by. Then, all day long, you can savour the signature dishes of Dépôt Légal, in a warm and cosy atmosphere. At aperitif time, the place changes pace and becomes a discreet meeting place for insiders.

Leather sofas, lush greenery and a soft, luminous ambience all combine to make this a chic, intimate retreat just a stone’s throw from the hustle and bustle of the city.

A card for every moment of the day

From lunch to evening cocktails, the menu celebrates seasonal produce with creativity and generosity. At lunchtime, you’ll love our homemade polpettes, Pugliese burrata with pistachio pesto, or a light spring salad. For dessert, a visit to the Comptoir des Douceurs is a must: raspberry crêpe cake, pistachio-vanilla meringue

In the evening, it’s time for elegant sharing: truffle finger croque, vitello tonnato, melt-in-your-mouth French fries. All accompanied by a drinks menu designed to surprise: original cocktails, niche wines, refreshing non-alcoholic creations.

A spot to try before it becomes too popular

Perfectly located at 6 rue des Petits Champs, the Dépôt Légal terrace is open Monday to Saturday from 8.30am to 10pm, and on Sundays until 6pm. A spot that ticks all the boxes: discreet, central, delicious.

The big plus?

The delicatessen section, where you can take a little of the experience home with you! Ultra-gourmet chocolate bars, well-chosen teas, small sweets and branded goodies – what souvenirs to slip into your suitcase, or to offer to those who don’t yet know the address!
