Jacquemus and Monte-Carlo Beach collab sets summer alight
What if the real luxury this summer was an interlude of light, between design and the turquoise sea? That’s the promise of Jacquemus, which is putting down its bags – and its universe – at Monte-Carlo Beach for a season that’s already shaping up to be a cult.
A Riviera reinvented by the Jacquemus eye
It’s not a collection, but an immersion. The star designer of the South, champion of a stylized, gentle, minimalist Provence, reenchants the emblematic Monte-Carlo Beach venues. To achieve this, he imagined a summer scenography conceived as a living tableau. The colors emblematic of the house – banana yellow, coconut milk white, black stripes – deckchairs, parasols and pontoons are transformed into open-air works of art.
Under the sea breeze, the décor becomes a sensory meditation, between elegance without ostentation and visual references to the Mediterranean of painters. Every detail bears the Jacquemus imprint: sunny, uncluttered, intensely graphic, but always rooted in a gentle idea of pleasure.
Luxury that tells a story
But this collaboration goes far beyond sleek aesthetics. Jacquemus doesn’t decorate: it tells a story of the Riviera, of a summer that is both contemplative and vibrant. Two ephemeral boutiques round out the installation, like pauses in time. Set up in the heart of the resort, they combine raw furniture, Renoir or Matisse-inspired sketches, and selected books evoking the designer’s native Provence.
It’s like entering a dreamy, sun-drenched vacation home, with the feeling of being welcomed not by a brand, but by a sensibility. A rare form of luxury, where soul is never sacrificed to image.
The Monte-Carlo Beach in its new Jacquemus era
With the arrival of this collaboration, the Monte-Carlo Beach continues its transformation. Already embracing a more contemporary dynamic, with new sporting activities (such as paddle tennis) and the growing popularity of the Elsa restaurant, the hotel is reinforcing its DNA: that of luminous, fluid, eco-responsible and summery luxury.
The presence of Jacquemus completes this transformation by adding an extra soul: that of a designer capable of transforming places into emotions, and objects into sensory memories.
A stopover to be experienced until October 7, 2025
Offered throughout the summer and into autumn, this collaboration will not be renewed. It was conceived as a unique season, a sunny interlude between dream, refinement and mastered simplicity. The place, already mythical, becomes a stage. And Jacquemus, once again, succeeds in surprising where least expected: in a discreet, soothed, sublimated Riviera.
