Summer in Paris is not complete without dinner at Il Carpaccio

Crowned “World’s Best Italian Restaurant” by the 50 Top Italy guide in 2024, Il Carpaccio reinvents its identity at the dawn of summer. With a new menu, refreshed decor, a green terrace and a special dinner event, this Michelin-starred restaurant is constantly reinventing itself.

A cuisine of emotion, between memory and modernity

Chef duo Oliver Piras and Alessandra Del Favero, who trained in the kitchens of the three-star Da Vittorio, are at the helm of a score as precise as it is daring. Their guiding principle? Contemporary Italian cuisine, rooted in local produce and expressive taste.

The dishes on the new menu don’t try to show off: they tell the story of a contemporary Italy, subtle, sometimes unexpected, always sincere. Witness the fried asparagus, served with an emulsion of egg and long pepper; the Paccheri alla Vittorio, generous and perfectly executed; theMilanese-style elephant ear, twisted with datterino tomatoes and baked potatoes, designed to be shared…

Each creation is supported by the meticulous pairings of sommelier Gabriele Del Carlo, whose selection crosses the Italian terroirs with elegance.

Two menus, two experiences of refinement

To satisfy both curious epicureans and aesthetes in a hurry, Il Carpaccio offers two distinct experiences:

  • The 8-course tasting menu (€230): total immersion in the sensory world of our chefs, enhanced by a wine and food pairing at €170.
  • The 5-course menu (€175), shorter but just as refined, accompanied by a pairing for €125

Two ways to discover high-precision cuisine, without excess but full of personality.

A transformed setting, an unveiled terrace

If the cuisine is evolving, so is the décor. The restaurant has been subtly redesigned to amplify natural light, emphasize the softness of materials, and create an environment that is both chic and intimate, true to the Italian art of living.

But the real novelty is the opening of the terrace, nestled in the heart of the Royal Monceau. A rare green space in the 8th arrondissement, ideal for enjoying a starlit meal under the rays of the Parisian sun.

A six-hand dinner with the crème de la crème of Italian gastronomy

The highlight of this summer season: on June 12, 2025, Il Carpaccio will host an exceptional six-hand dinner featuring: Oliver Piras; Alessandra Del Favero; Chicco Cerea, three-starred chef of Da Vittorio restaurant.

A unique evening of creativity, respect for the product and transmission, where gastronomic Italy will be celebrated in its most vibrant version.

Why Il Carpaccio is so much more than a Michelin-starred restaurant

Il Carpaccio doesn’t just capitalize on its star or its prices. What really sets it apart is its ability to move through controlled simplicity, to surprise without provoking, and to create a truly immersive culinary experience.
