The Barrière group re-enacts its legend with elegance

More than 110 years of history condensed into 2 minutes 40. This is the ambitious challenge taken up by Barrière in its new campaign entitled “Time shapes us”, entrusted to the SPOA agency. Far from a classic commercial, the film takes on the air of a heritage manifesto, withEva Green’s voice moving through archives and present-day scenes with hushed intensity.

We discover the Barrière universe through its founding figures, its mythical locations, and the emotional memories of its visitors, famous and anonymous alike. It’s not so much an ad as a tribute to a French art of living, focused on cinema, luxury and, above all, transmission.

A campaign unveiled in Deauville, the group’s historic birthplace

Barrière didn’t choose the Deauville American Film Festival by chance to unveil this production. This venue, where it all began with François André, is still today a strong marker of its identity. By blending storytelling, emotion and elegant staging, the group has succeeded in reinforcing its proximity to the world of culture and prestige.

According to Joy Desseigne-Barrière and Alexandre Barrière, the campaign pays tribute to the “unique memories and emotions” experienced by generations of customers and employees.

Experiential luxury and targeted collaborations

Beyond this film, Barrière is multiplying its high-end initiatives. The latest is an exclusive collaboration with Swiss watchmaker IWC Schaffhausen, based at the Le Normandy hotel. What’s on the agenda? Private workshops on watchmaking creation and an exhibition of rare timepieces, in an immersive scenography.

With this campaign, Barrière proves that it doesn’t just sell nights or games, but lasting memories and emotions.
