Cinema Paradiso Festival: 4 magical evenings under the stars at the Louvre
Four days to experience Paris differently, with your eyes on the screen and the sky. From July 2 to 5, 2025, the Cinéma Paradiso festival returns to the square courtyard of the Louvre for a 5th edition combining monumental screenings, fine dining and electrifying musical ambience. A multi-faceted, sensory event conceived by MK2 founders Elisha and Nathanaël Karmitz.
Cinema reinvented: a concept by MK2
Far from the classic festival format, Cinéma Paradiso is an open-air laboratory. Since 2013, previous editions have featured drive-ins at the Grand Palais, performances by Colette or Le Baron, and even a virtual reality room set up… at the Parc des Princes. Each edition pushes the boundaries of the cinema experience, blending art, music, food culture and innovation.
An enticing and generous program
Once again this year, the 7th art will be combined with all times and genres. On a giant 24-metre screen, audiences will be able to (re)discover masterpieces such as Sofia Coppola‘s Virgin Suicides, screened in her presence, and Wong Kar-wai‘s legendary In the Mood for Love. Kleber Mendonça Filho‘s L’Agent secret, which just won a prize at Cannes, will be presented by the Brazilian director himself.
Another highlight was a tribute to David Lynch, who passed away in January, with a screening of Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me, a rare open-air event that’s a must-see.
Music and food culture
But Cinéma Paradiso is also a party place: evenings open with live concerts and DJ sets by artists such as Piu Piu and Fip Squad, in an atmosphere as elegant as it is relaxed. Epicureans will be delighted by the eclectic range of culinary delights on offer: Afro-Caribbean street food from New Soul Food, Amorino ice cream, or Neapolitan pizzas from Pizza del Popolo and Il Camioncino.

Imagine yourself in front of a cult film, cocktail in hand, surrounded by 2,000 cinephiles in one of the world’s most beautiful landmarks. Cinéma Paradiso is a unique urban interlude between popular culture and the art of living, in an exceptional setting.
