La Rôtisserie d’Argent reopens its terrace (and Paris recaptures its taste for real cuisine)

Some places make the heart of Paris beat faster with the arrival of fine weather. Such is the case of La Rôtisserie d’Argent, the bistro with a Titi-Parisian soul nestled on the banks of the Seine, right next to the illustrious Tour d’Argent. Since May 6, 2025, the terrace has been reopening with its red-and-white-tablecloth tables, under immaculate parasols, facing Notre-Dame. A unique setting for a rendezvous as joyous as it is gourmet.

A terrace with a view, and sincere cooking

Popular, elegant and unpretentious, the Rôtisserie d’Argent celebrates French art de vivre. At midday, the light from the quays illuminates the glasses; in the evening, the golden sky makes the silhouettes dance on the cobblestones. An ideal spot for a long lunch or a long dinner.

But this season, decor isn’t everything. Three major new features promise to renew the experience: a new chef, a new menu, and a signature cocktail that’s already speaking to all Parisian epicureans.

Romuald Sinnan: mastering tradition, embracing modernity

Romuald Sinnan, 38, brings a whole new energy to the kitchen. Originally from Guadeloupe, and having worked in some of Paris’s top establishments as well as the kitchens of Fitzgerald and Les Chèvres, the chef combines gastronomic precision with bistro generosity.

His cuisine? Revisited classics, inspired by the seasons, a taste for the right product, and a sincere approach to conviviality. He aims to “perpetuate traditional recipes” while adding a subtle touch of modernity.

“Ginette à Paris”: the cocktail that’s going to be the talk of the town

What better way to accompany a shy sun than with a refreshing cocktail? Named Ginette à Paris, this new mix is a nod to the free-spirited and mischievous Parisienne. The program includes basil-infused gin, a hint of Gauloise Verte and tangy verjuice, for a subtly herbal drink that’s perfect for the golden hour.
