Villa Junot: Iconic House unveils a Montmartre retreat, part family home, part aesthete’s dream
Climb up, leave Pigalle behind, then turn off towards Avenue Junot. It’s here, between foliage and silence, that the Villa Junot, a new creation by the Iconic House group, is hidden. This 1920 building, once home to composer André Mauprey, has been transformed into an ultra-private 710 m² retreat, designed for living in Paris… only better.
Not a hotel, not a guesthouse: an author’s house
Right from the entrance, the tone is set: here, nothing is ostentatious, everything is coherent, fluid and precise. Behind this almost discreet façade are five suites, a rooftop overlooking Montmartre, a private garden, a full spa (jacuzzi, sauna, hammam) and even a projection room. The space breathes, but above all, it tells.
Designed by the Claves design duo, Villa Junot blends artistic references, modern craftsmanship and visual poetry: cosmic fresco, ceramics, blown glass, stained glass windows signed by a former Margiela designer… Surrealism 2025, embodied in an inhabited space.
The freedom of luxury
Florian, House Manager, orchestrates the experience. Here, nothing is imposed: everything can be tailor-made. Private chef, 24-hour concierge service, massages, made-to-measure dinners, private screenings, children’s workshops, champagne already chilled… This is true luxury: do nothing if you don’t want to, but be able to do everything if you do.
Montmartre, the choice of a certain Paris
Just a stone’s throw from Sacré-Cœur, in an enclave still untouched by mass tourism, Villa Junot is more inspired by Dalida, Man Ray or Lia Rochas-Pàris than by Parisian clichés. It’s neither a palace nor a luxury Airbnb: it’s an author’s home with top-flight hotel service, embodying a new form of luxury: cultivated, serene, almost secretive.
Iconic House: a collection of houses with a soul
After Hossegor, Cap Ferret and the Alps, Iconic House has chosen Paris for its first urban address – but remains true to its DNA: homes that tell stories, with a taste for hushed elegance and places apart. The Villa Junot is just such a place, impossible to classify, that reinvents Parisian luxury without ever flaunting it.
