A swimming pool on the Seine? This new venue will electrify the Parisian summer
What if the most beautiful beach of summer 2025 wasn’t on the Côte d’Azur, but… in the 16th arrondissement of Paris? Nestled at 1 allée du Bord de l’Eau, between Longchamp and Boulogne, La Marina Les Maquereaux will awaken the Parisian summer with an original concept combining swimming, gastronomy, music and water sports. A veritable floating urban seaside resort, imagined by the pioneers of the art of living on the Seine.
An aquatic oasis at the gateway to Paris
Ten years after launching their first party barges, Cie Les Maquereaux pushes back the boundaries of cool with La Marina, an audacious hybrid venue set on two redesigned barges. On the program: waterside restaurant, swimming pool, private deckchairs, DJ sets, oyster bar, and even e-foil rides for thrill-seekers.
Designed to appeal to families, groups of friends, young professionals and businesses alike, La Marina is a place where you can work, stroll, sunbathe, swim and dine all in the same place. All in a soft, sunny and fiercely Parisian atmosphere.
A homemade menu designed for large gatherings
At the helm is Saghatel Karapetyan, a former chef at the Ritz Paris, whose fresh, iodized cuisine is both friendly and well-sourced: ceviches, fish of the day, club sandwiches, homemade fish & chips, seasonal vegetables, Label Rouge chicken… And of course, the oyster bar, a nod to Les Maquereaux’s very first DNA.
Lovers of natural wines, organic rosés and shaken cocktails will not be outdone: the selection is short, local and committed. Here, everything is homemade, in a spirit of relaxation and quality.
A raw and photogenic decor by St. Lazare
In terms of ambience, La Marina features a raw, vintage, relaxed seaside style. The St. Lazare studio already behind Hôtel Les Roches Rouges and Le Couvent in Nice, has imagined a warm, sporty visual universe inspired by vintage beach clubs and Mediterranean ports.
A committed address
True to its values, the place is also respectful of the environment: no single-use plastic, naval architecture designed with sustainable materials, selection of responsible products… A vision of a conscious, elegant Parisian summer, living to the rhythm of the river.
