Le 5 Particulier in Neuilly: the address Parisians dream of keeping secret

Tucked away on a quiet street in Neuilly-sur-Seine, Le 5 Particulier is unlike any other Paris hotel. No icy reception desk or impersonal lobby. This 29-room boutique hotel, housed in a 19th-century house, embodies a hushed, summery art de vivre, a blend of understated elegance and genuine generosity. A place so special, in fact, that we hesitate to talk about it too loudly.

A hotel designed as a contemporary “folly

Renovated in 2021 and then sublimated by the Friedmann & Versace duo, Le 5 Particulier boasts a strong identity: that of a modern folly, inspired by the vacation homes where Parisians came to escape the hustle and bustle of the capital. Wood, onyx, brass, silk, flowers, natural light… Every space has been designed to blur the boundary between inside and outside, between contemporary comfort and old-world charm.

The garden, redesigned by Christophe Gautrand (Mandarin Oriental, Les Airelles), becomes the central element of the experience. A veritable haven of greenery, it welcomes visitors from breakfast to afterwork, under the foliage of a setting where time seems suspended.

Casetta: a table that cultivates the obvious

The Casetta restaurant extends this bucolic, refined atmosphere. Open from dawn to dusk, its Mediterranean-style cuisine is fresh, simple and highly effective. On the menu this summer: Pugliese burrata, generous parmigiana, sea bream with crunchy peas, or tiramisù with mint strawberries.

The weekday lunch menu changes weekly according to the chef’s mood and the season. An elegant way to revisit the classics while respecting a locavore and sustainable approach.

In the afternoon, it’s all about the sweetness

From 3pm to 6pm, a gourmet break becomes a must. Homemade iced tea, fresh lemonade, cake of the day, hot drinks and freshly squeezed juices can be enjoyed indoors or on the terrace. It’s also the perfect time for a discreet meeting or a quiet reading interlude.

And for those who prefer to wait for an aperitif, the Casetta bar comes alive from 3.30pm with signature creations such as Delizia Al Limone (gin, yuzu, lemon, house lemon curd) or Fiume d’Oro. Sip on the terracotta velvet sofas or enjoy a drink in the garden.

A hotel designed for slowness… and events

With its four privatizable areas (restaurant, bar, garden and gallery), Le 5 Particulier lends itself perfectly to both professional and private events. Receptions, seminars or confidential dinners take place in a peaceful atmosphere, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Special mention must go to the gallery’s monumental lighting fixture (11,266 porcelain leaves), which lends each event an extra touch of soul.

What we remember

Le 5 Particulier is more than a hotel, it’s a state of mind. That of a summer in Paris that you can savor at your own pace, far from the noise, in a green and poetic bubble. It’s a place to read, stroll, chat, eat slowly, and sometimes even forget yourself.

With its chic countryside, meticulous gastronomy and sensitive décor, it succeeds in offering the rarest of Parisian luxuries: silence and space. An address to be discovered, or jealously preserved.
