The Ritz Paris unveils a secret summer terrace
It’s a first in the history of the palace: the Ritz Paris invites itself to open air on the legendary Place Vendôme. From July 3, 2025, Parisians (and others) will be able to enjoy an ephemeral terrace of discreet but irresistible charm, without reservation, in one of the capital’s most emblematic locations.
A summer of majesty under the gilding of the Grand Siècle
Imagine sipping a cocktail at the foot of the Ritz’s golden colonnades, lulled by the scent of jasmine, under an ivory parasol. The summer terrace at the Ritz Paris takes up residence in a unique setting, with climbing roses and retro seaside furniture. A scenography designed as a bucolic escape in the heart of the city.
More than just a terrace, it’s a tribute to French art de vivre, with a direct view of the historic facades of Place Vendôme. From 4pm to 9pm, every day until August 10, 2025, this open-air lounge offers an experience as chic as it is relaxed.
A menu designed for summer
No reservations required, no fixed etiquette: here, the palace is accessible. The menu includes refreshing cocktails, champagne, glasses of fresh fruit and, of course, the famous ice-cream cart that delights passers-by and regulars alike. A simple, refined offer, to be enjoyed on the spot or taken away to stroll the adjacent streets.
The Vanille musical experience
And to bring a different kind of summer vibe, the Ritz Paris is teaming up with rising Parisian artist Vanille. From July 1, she will unveil a brand-new song, specially composed for the terrace: a luminous ballad, inspired by the neighborhoods of Paris and their everyday poetry.
With her gentle voice and guitar, Vanille balances between French chanson, bossa nova, Latin rhythms and sunny pop. Her playlist is a perfect accompaniment to the end of the day, adding a touch of soul to the atmosphere, between delicate groove and joyful melancholy.
A unique event, open to all
What’s striking, beyond the decor or the exclusivity of the place, is the desire for openness. Contrary to the sometimes distant image of palaces, the Ritz Paris invites everyone to come, without code or pretension, simply to enjoy an exceptional moment.
