Vera Wang launches ready-to-wear in Europe
Bridal fashion icon Vera Wang takes a new step: thanks to a strategic partnership, she launches her first contemporary ready-to-wear line in Europe. Here’s everything you need to know.
A strategic shift supported by WHP Global
In June 2025, WHP Global, which acquired the Vera Wang brand in December 2024, signed a licensing agreement with Batra Group to develop a ready-to-wear line in Europe and the UK. This is the first ready-to-wear launch under WHP, marking a key step in the brand’s strategic expansion.
A contemporary, affordable offering
The collection, scheduled for Autumn-Winter 2026, combines elegance and sophisticated nonchalance, true to the Wang spirit. Initially dedicated to a women’s line, it will be followed by a men’s version. The line is aimed at a premium European clientele, with a careful positioning designed to appeal to a multicultural public.
Batra Group, new European partner
Batra Group, which specializes in the management and distribution of fashion brands, is now in charge of the production, development and distribution of this new line in Europe. The creation of a luxury division in London will enable marketing via flagship stores, specialized boutiques and high-end department stores.
Vera Wang’s expanded role
Vera Wang retains her position as Artistic Director and becomes a shareholder in WHP Global, confirming her commitment to the project. Vera Wang brings her couture style – draping, layering, detailing – to a more contemporary version designed for Europe.
A new era for Vera Wang
With this European launch, Vera Wang enters a phase of controlled globalization, combining prestige, creativity and a desire for accessibility. The WHP-Batra association heralds a major strategic step forward, paving the way for the stylish democratization of its couture elegance.
