Quentin Mauro: the Top Chef winner opens a temporary restaurant on the Seine
Just crowned grand winner of season 16 of “Top Chef”, Quentin Mauro signs an exceptional culinary summer on the Seine. From July 3 to August 31, 2025, the young chef will set up his ephemeral restaurant on a barge in Asnières-sur-Seine, just a stone’s throw from Splash. The perfect opportunity to discover his sensitive, inventive cuisine, revealed on France’s most-watched cooking show.
A victory hailed by chefs and public alike
Coached by Glenn Viel, Quentin Mauro won over a prestigious jury of 57 Michelin stars and 8 MOFs. In the final, he won with 52.65% of the votes, thanks to a highly creative menu. His talent also impressed the MICHELIN Guide inspectors, who praised his “great sensitivity and assertive technical mastery”, even though no star was awarded to his short-lived restaurant on the show, due to a lack of consistency across the 11 dishes on offer.
A 6-course menu on board a barge
From July 3, Quentin will be at the helm of an ephemeral address on the Seine, conceived in collaboration with Les Bistrots Pas Parisiens. Each evening, he will serve a 6-course fish menu (€95), with a wine and food pairing option (€50).
An immersive, poetic and refined dinner, overlooking the Seine in a hushed setting. À la carte? Original creations inspired by Top Chef, with surprising textures, fine sauces and perfectly mastered cooking.
An exclusive summer interlude
Open evenings by reservation via The Fork, the restaurant offers a unique blend of haute cuisine and aquatic surroundings. Located at Port Van Gogh in Asnières-sur-Seine, it adds a touch of seaside chic to the gateway to Paris.
A table not to be missed
With this first short-lived address, Quentin Mauro confirms his status as culinary revelation of the year. His victory in Top Chef was just the beginning. This summer, head to Asnières for an experience signed Quentin Mauro, a young chef who has already made a name for himself.
