Dolce Vita on the terrace of the Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris

The Parisian Palace celebrates summer with a refined Italian scenography, an exclusive ice cream offer and an inspired cocktail menu.

This summer, Le Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris invites guests to experience an elegant, transalpine summer interlude, in the heart of the 8ᵉ arrondissement. Between lemon trees, parasols inspired by the Amalfi coast and original ice creations, the Palace gives its terrace a breath of Dolce Vita. The balance is successful, between Parisian refinement and Mediterranean lightness.

A touch of Italy in the heart of Paris

Right from the entrance, the tone is set. The lobby welcomes visitors with a majestic lemon tree, a tribute to the Italian art of living. On the terrace, sunny yellow umbrellas and soft furnishings create a farniente chic atmosphere, perfect for getting away from it all.

For the occasion, the Palace patisserie unveils an exclusive ice-cream cart, featuring a Niçois lemon frosting, revisited with a basil-oil lemon sauce. A limited-edition ice cream treat, to be enjoyed only on the terrace.

The great Palace houses reinterpret summer

The three Royal Monceau – Raffles Paris restaurants are taking part in this summer celebration with exclusive sweet creations. The star of the show: a frosted brioche, filled with double vanilla ice cream, a lemon confit and a light bitter almond cream. A delicacy at the crossroads of Italian traditions and French pastry-making expertise.

On the savory side, the menu continues in the spirit of summer: bonito carpaccio with citrus fruits, Mafaldine with summer truffles, or the delicately iodized Royal Monceau Lobster Roll.

Creative cocktails at Bar Long and Matsuhisa Paris

A lively place in the Palace, Bar Long also celebrates the season with a new collection of cocktails. Each creation pays homage to an emblematic area of the hotel: Cinema, served in a glass shaped like a popcorn tin, evokes the private screening room (designed by Starck). Swimming Pool, with its aquatic nuances, reflects the serenity of the spa and its pool.

Matsuhisa Paris, Nobu Matsuhisa‘s address, offers a menu of twelve Japanese-Peruvian cocktails, three of which are non-alcoholic. Among them: 1987, a long drink combining Barolo Chinato, hibiscus and sparkling sake. And Pampa, a non-alcoholic blend of dragon fruit, grapefruit and lemongrass. A gustatory voyage in keeping with the restaurant’s fusion universe.
