Les Bains Paris: a five-star hotel that brings the Marais to life

Formerly a legendary club, Les Bains has been reinvented as a luxury hotel in Paris, without losing any of its rebellious spirit. Between design, party and culture, a place apart in the capital.

If some Parisian addresses become cult, others remain so. Such is the case with Les Bains Paris, located in the 3ᵉ arrondissement, a stone’s throw from Arts-et-Métiers. A legendary venue for Parisian nights in the 80s and 90s, what was once Les Bains Douches is now a five-star boutique-hotel as refined as it is festive.

Under the impetus of Jean-Pierre Marois, the establishment has been redesigned as a hybrid of upscale hotels, contemporary art and nightlife. The design by Vincent Bastie, Tristan Auer and Denis Montel preserves the soul of the place while giving it a sophisticated second wind.

39 inspired and unique rooms and suites

No two rooms are alike. Marble, velvet, Gainsbourg-inspired carpeting, Warholian sofas… The 39 rooms tell as many stories as the place itself. Some suites even have private hammams, an elegant nod to the building’s spa history.

The venue also acts as a living gallery, with exhibitions, artist residencies and installations. A creative spirit that appeals as much to Parisians as to travelers looking for an out-of-the-ordinary stay.

Roxo: the festive, cosmopolitan restaurant-bar

The Roxo restaurant offers a hushed ambience and mixed cuisine, orchestrated by chef Bruno Grossi. Enjoy dishes inspired by French and international gastronomy, while sipping signature cocktails at the central bar. In the evening, DJ sets and an evolving musical program take over until 2am.

The club: an intact heritage

In the basement, the former Bains Douches club is still alive and kicking. Black and white checkerboard floors, a swimming pool in the background, live music and DJs set the nights alight from Thursday to Saturday(11pm-5am). The place still attracts a creative and international public, curious about this unique atmosphere blending heritage, electro and audacity.
