Horse racing in Paris: when the Place de la Concorde becomes a racecourse

For the first time, the Place de la Concorde is the setting for life-size horse races. A free, spectacular event for all the family.

On Friday and Saturday, September 5 and 6, 2025, France Galop is creating an event by transforming the prestigious Place de la Concorde into a veritable equestrian stage. Designed as a weekend of initiation and discovery, this unique event is entirely free and open to all: horse lovers, families, the curious or just strolling along.

A rich program accessible to all

In the heart of the capital, visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy an immersive experience up close and personal with racehorses. Activities include

  • A giant presentation ring inspired by the world’s greatest racecourses
  • Horse and jockey parades
  • Introduction to riding, ideal for children and beginners
  • Meetings with industry professionals
  • Equestrian demonstrations and the presence of converted horses presented by the Au-Delà des Pistes association.

Giant screens will broadcast highlights of the major competitions, while stands will offer food and information on forthcoming equestrian events.
