Kujten, Parisian cashmere conquers Madison Avenue
Parisian cashmere house Kujten crosses the Atlantic. In autumn 2025, its first New York address will open on Madison Avenue, on the Upper East Side.
Founded by Carole Benaroya and Stéphanie Eriksson, Kujten has established itself in just a few years as a benchmark brand for contemporary cashmere freed from traditional codes. Inspired by the highest peak in Mongolia, from which it takes its name, Kujten boasts an identity all its own: joyful, graphic and daring.
Reinventing cashmere
Long associated with a classic, almost staid image, cashmere has been given a new lease of life by Kujten. The collections feature bold colors, strong pieces and multicultural inspirations that appeal to women and men alike. Far from rigid luxury, the Parisian brand defends a modern vision: that of everyday luxury that is accessible, lively and creative.
The bandana, an icon of the house
A symbol of this free spirit, the printed cashmere bandana has become the house’s signature piece over the seasons. More than just an accessory, it illustrates Kujten’s philosophy of travel, daring and effortless style. Already a cult item in Paris, it is poised to seduce a new clientele in New York.
A link already established with the United States
The opening of this New York boutique is part of a continuing dialogue with America. In 2023, Kujten had already collaborated with cult tattoo artist Prof. Dr. Woo in Los Angeles, paving the way for a sincere relationship with the American public.
A new address on Madison Avenue
After opening more than 50 stores in France and Europe, Kujten is accelerating its international expansion. The choice of Madison Avenue, on the prestigious Upper East Side, reflects the brand’s desire to anchor its identity at the heart of an emblematic district of New York luxury.
The boutique, conceived as an immersion in the Kujten universe, will offer the full range of women’s, men’s and accessories collections. The store’s design will feature natural light, clean lines and a warm yet minimalist atmosphere, in keeping with the company’s DNA.
