Moynat’s Autumn M Canvas collection: between heritage and modernity

Moynat unveils a new interpretation of its iconic “M” monogram.
A refined autumn collection, where traditional craftsmanship and contemporary lines meet in elegant dialogue.

Founded in 1849 by Pauline Moynat, a pioneering figure in the world of luggage, Moynat set the standard for innovation and refinement right from the start. As early as 1873, Moynat revolutionized the art of travel with the English trunk covered in gutta-percha, a waterproof vegetable gum that was to transform leather goods.

The Automne M Canvas collection is a tribute to the “M” monogram introduced at the beginning of the 20th century by designer Henri Rapin. Initially hand-painted on the company’s trunks, this discreet symbol has over time become an emblematic visual signature.

A contemporary interpretation of the monogram

For the new season, the historic “M” comes back to life in a redesigned version, combining technical fabric, meticulous finishing and clean lines. Faithful to Moynat’s craftsmanship, the collection embodies the desire to preserve tradition while inscribing it in a modern language.

The autumn palette comes in three deep shades:

  • a sober, elegant military green,
  • a vibrant burgundy reminiscent of maple leaves,
  • a dense navy blue evoking a late-day sky.

These shades, both timeless and seasonal, sublimate the iconic shapes of the house.

Models for every moment of life

The collection is distinguished by a variety of formats designed to suit all uses. The tote bag, available in three sizes, is the perfect everyday companion. The 48h and its mini 48h version will appeal to travelers in search of functional elegance. The Hobo, the moon bag and the clutch complete the range, alongside small leather goods that testify to our attention to detail.

Each piece embodies the promise of enduring luxury, designed to endure the seasons in style.
