The Grand Palais celebrates luxury professions with a giant show from October 2 to 5, 2025

An XXL show dedicated to the luxury professions will take place under the glass roof of the Grand Palais in early October. A rare opportunity to go behind the scenes of a sector in transformation.

From October 2 to 5, 2025, the Grand Palais will play host to Les Deux Mains du Luxe, a major event organized by the Comité Colbert. For four days, 32 prestigious companies such as Cartier, Hermès, Chanel and Louis Vuitton will be offering an immersive tour of French excellence. The event promises to be a strategic one for a sector facing growing recruitment and transmission challenges.

This project is part of a clear commitment to showcasing know-how and attracting new generations to the craft and creative professions of luxury goods. The first two days will be reserved for schoolchildren. From 2pm on October 3, the event will open its doors to the general public. Admission is free with registration.

Seven worlds behind the scenes of luxury

In a 2,500 m² scenography designed by young talents from ENSAAMA, visitors will explore seven key areas. Tableware, leather goods, decoration , gastronomy & hospitality , jewelry & watchmaking, haute couture & fashion , perfumes & cosmetics. Conferences, participatory workshops and demonstrations will be offered by passionate artisans. All of which may well spark unexpected vocations.

Training for better transmission

The luxury sector can no longer be content with its image of exceptionalism. It faces major challenges: a shortage of skilled workers, a lack of visibility in training paths, and the need to adapt to environmental and digital challenges. This show responds to this urgency by making professions often perceived as inaccessible more concrete and accessible.

In conjunction with the show, an off-site exhibition will be held on the Champs-Élysées. It will extend our reflection on the place of craftsmanship in the city and in our times.

Paris, capital of luxury… and employment

The show at the Grand Palais reinforces the link between Paris and the luxury industry. By hosting this fifth edition of Les Deux Mains du Luxe, the French capital is asserting its central role in promoting the arts and crafts. The partnership with the Réunion des Musées Nationaux confirms this dynamic cooperation between culture and industry.
