Valentino Beauty resurrects the spirit of Studio 54 with its “Rendez-Vous Ivory” collection

On September 10, 2025, Valentino Beauty revives the icon of disco nights with an immersive evening and a limited-edition fragrance and make-up collection.

A symbol of freedom, flamboyant creativity and extravagance, Studio 54 remains a myth inseparable from the cultural history of the 1970s. To celebrate its new “Rendez-Vous Ivory” collection , Valentino Beauty drew inspiration from the building and organized a tribute evening in New York to this temple of the night, recreating its electric energy for a hand-picked audience: emerging designers, fashion figures, historic clients and Friends of the House.

The legendary club’s return to favor is embodied in a visual campaign conceived as an aesthetic statement. Directed by Carlijn Jacobs, the campaign features Adut Akech, a contemporary muse, in an atmosphere where the glare of the spotlight meets the audacity of individual expression.

Rendez-Vous Ivory: a collection full of light

Launched as a limited edition, the Rendez-Vous Ivory 2025 collection dresses the iconic Born in Roma Donna and Born in Roma Uomo bottles in luminous ivory with gold highlights. An aesthetic that evokes the graphic elegance of New York nights, between faceted balls and retro sensuality.

Born in Roma Donna combines orange blossom, Madagascar vanilla and white musk for a velvety, sunny signature. Born in Roma Uomo combines bergamot, lavender and smoky notes for an intense, assertive trail.

The line also includes Spike Valentino Ivory, a jewel-like object available in four luminous shades, from soft nude to vibrant terrazzo red. The formulas are enriched with Roma Light Complex, guaranteeing a brilliant matte finish that catches the light like a stage spotlight.

A nocturnal inspiration that also resonates in Paris

While the evening took place in New York, it was in Paris, the beating heart of haute couture, that Valentino Beauty conceived its collections. A cross between artistic perfumery and couture make-up, the brand targets a Parisian clientele in search of singular, powerful and expressive beauty objects. The products will be distributed in selected Parisian outlets.

By appropriating the myth of Studio 54, Valentino offers a vision of beauty as a terrain of emancipation, in the free and extravagant spirit that also makes the heart of the capital beat.
