Veuve Clicquot x Jacquemus: a sunny collaboration for La Grande Dame

Champagne house Veuve Clicquot teams up with Jacquemus for a limited edition of the 2018 vintage of La Grande Dame. An elegant encounter between design, heritage and light.
To mark the start of the 2025 season, Veuve Clicquot has entrusted its prestige cuvée La Grande Dame to designer Simon Porte Jacquemus, for a collaboration under the sign of sunshine, feminine transmission and craftsmanship. The result? A bottle dressed in natural linen, embroidered with handwritten words and wrapped in the way bottles were once protected with damp cloths to preserve their freshness. The matching box, embossed with sunbeams, extends this poetic gesture.
When two heritages meet
At Veuve Clicquot, the legacy of Barbe-Nicole Ponsardin, the first woman to run a champagne house, still shines through. At Jacquemus, the memory of Valérie, the designer’s mother, inspires every project. This dialogue between female tutelary figures creates a strong link between the two worlds. And Jacquemus’agricultural roots make this collaboration a natural fit.
This is not Simon Porte Jacquemus ‘s first foray into the world of gastronomy and the art of living. We remember the Citron and Oursin restaurants at Galeries Lafayette, or more recently his private table in Provence. Here, he signs a rare and refined object, just like the cuvée: La Grande Dame 2018, from a solar vintage, which pays tribute to audacity and finesse.
A collector’s item by Camille Gras
Another highlight of the collaboration is a champagne bucket, designed by Jacquemus and crafted by Parisian goldsmith Camille Gras, produced in just 50 pieces. This exclusive creation is a blend of discreet luxury and object design.
The launch campaign kicks off in the United States, in conjunction with New York Fashion Week, where Jacquemus recently opened its first boutique. A strategic choice for Veuve Clicquot, whose American market is currently the most dynamic.
