MOTHER x Chloe Fineman: a retro capsule that resurrects the spirit of the 60s

Californian brand MOTHER collaborates with Chloe and Emma Fineman for a capsule collection inspired by the 60s. A fashion operation that’s both pop and committed.

On September 4, MOTHER unveils a resolutely retro capsule imagined with rising Saturday Night Live actress Chloe Fineman and her sister Emma Fineman, a visual artist. Entitled The Chloe Show, the collection is inspired by the stylistic effervescence of the 60s, with structured silhouettes and bold prints.

The wardrobe pays tribute to the European and American style icons of the time: from Jackie Kennedy to Brigitte Bardot, via Jane Birkin and Catherine Deneuve. An aesthetic inspired as much by Parisian chic as by Californian counter-culture, restoring vintage pieces to their artisanal nobility.

A capsule with attention to detail

Comprising 15 pieces – garments and accessories – the collection mixes impeccable denim, trapeze skirts, patent leatherette ensembles, berets and printed scarves. The materials are robust, the finishes meticulous: personalized linings, original embroidery, revisited vintage cuts.

Emma Fineman ‘s contribution adds an artistic dimension to the collection, with an exclusive monogram and illustrations that reinforce the project’s visual identity. “I’m thrilled to have finally found the perfect pair of jeans thanks to MOTHER,” confides Chloe, in a tone that’s part humor, part sincerity, true to her public persona.

Committed fashion

Beyond its aesthetic appeal, the collection has a solidarity dimension: 10% of net sales will be donated to the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation, in tribute to their firefighter cousin and in support of California fire victims.

An echo all the way to Paris

While MOTHER remains little distributed in Paris, this collaboration could appeal to a Parisian clientele in search of revisited vintage pieces, like the selections offered by Merci, The Frankie Shop or Maison Cléo. The tribute to Birkin, Deneuve and Hardy inevitably resonates with the Parisian model imaginary, which continues to appeal internationally.
