Bvlgari at Geneva Watch Days 2025: the Octo Finissimo defies time
From September 4 to 7, 2025, Bvlgari marked Geneva Watch Days with two spectacular new creations and a retrospective dedicated to the Octo Finissimo. Between technical prowess and artistic collaborations, the Roman company confirms its essential role in contemporary watchmaking.
Geneva Watch Days 2025 once again brought together enthusiasts, collectors and the curious on the shores of Lake Geneva. Among the event’s major players, Bvlgari transformed its space into a veritable gallery of watchmaking art, focusing on the history of its flagship collection: the Octo Finissimo. It’s an opportunity to celebrate a saga that began in 2014 and has already set ten world records in eleven years.
A retrospective for an icon
TheOcto Finissimo, launched in 2014, redefined the codes of contemporary watchmaking. Its graphic case, inspired by Roman architecture, and ultra-thin calibers have turned standards on their head. Tourbillon, minute repeater, perpetual calendar… every complication has been revisited from the angle of finesse.
In Geneva, Bvlgari presented a retrospective of its most emblematic models, from the Octo Finissimo Tourbillon of 2014 to the Skeleton 8 Days of 2022. A clear demonstration of the House’s ability to combine mechanical innovation with sculptural aesthetics.
Two new features in 2025
The first creation unveiled is theOcto Finissimo Lee Ufan x Bvlgari. Limited to 150 pieces, this edition pays tribute to the Korean master. Its minimalist mirror dial contrasts with black hands, echoing the artist’s sculptures. Behind the sleek design, the ultra-thin BvL 138 caliber illustrates the House’s savoir-faire.
The second timepiece, theOcto Finissimo Tourbillon Marble, takes aesthetic research even further. Produced in a limited edition of 30, it features an Italian blue marble dial, a first in the watchmaking world. Despite this innovation, the watch is only 4.85 mm thick. A technical feat that confirms Bvlgari’s desire to fuse tradition, audacity and rare materials.
An unmissable international event
With these launches and this retrospective, Bvlgari has established itself as one of the major protagonists of Geneva Watch Days. This event, open to the public, reinforces its status as an international platform where innovation and watchmaking culture meet.
While Geneva remains the stage for this feat, Paris is not to be outdone: the Octo Finissimo is regularly featured in the Bvlgari boutique on Place Vendôme, linking Swiss watchmaking tradition with French elegance.
