Gigi Roma: the art of Italian entertaining as seen by Paris Society
The Paris Society group inaugurates Gigi Roma on the rooftop of the Orient Express La Minerva.
A refined setting, combining Italian gastronomy, a breathtaking view of Rome and French elegance.
Gigi Roma follows in the footsteps of the Paris Society group, which for several years has been transforming the art of entertaining into a complete experience. Installed on the roof of theOrient Express La Minerva, this new restaurant offers a 360° view of Rome’s monuments, from the Pantheon to the Vittoriano and the dome of St. Peter’s. An exceptional setting in which to discover the finest Italian cuisine, served in a refined but unostentatious atmosphere.
A menu faithful to Italian tradition
Designed for every hour of the day, Gigi Roma’s menu blends classic Roman dishes with more contemporary touches. In the morning, enjoy a ristretto, a freshly squeezed juice or a maritozzo with cream. At lunchtime or dinnertime, you’ll find the must-try dishes: vitello tonnato, spaghetti vongole e bottarga , milanese, or tiramisù and pistacchio gelato. Each dish is executed with precision and respect for the ingredients.
All of this is accompanied by a Lipari (signature cocktail) or well-chosen Italian wines, in an atmosphere that’s both elegant and relaxed.Aperitifs are servedfrom 5pm to 7pm, followed by dinner until 10:30pm, so you can enjoy the Roman light at any time of day.
A meticulous project, in the image of its founders
The venue was conceived under the direction of Paris Society, in collaboration with Rikas Hospitality, with the aim of fusing the best of Italy and France. As Laurent de Gourcuff points out, Gigi is “a concept that celebrates Italy alla grande, with an elegant French touch”. This vision is reflected in the identity of Gigi Roma: a lively place, designed to welcome an international clientele, but respectful of its cultural environment.
The link with Paris
For Parisians familiar with Gigi Montaigne, this Roman address is a natural follow-up. The same attention to atmosphere, detail and overall experience is evident. By exporting this savoir-faire to Rome, Paris Society confirms its ability to create places that combine exceptional surroundings, quality cuisine and the right atmosphere.
