Louis Vuitton celebrates 100 years of Art Deco: an immersive dive into the heart of style at LV dream

From September 26, 2025, Maison Louis Vuitton launches Louis Vuitton Art Deco, a free, immersive exhibition at LV Dream, in the heart of Paris.

The year 2025 celebrates the centenary of the 1925Exposition Internationale des Arts Décoratifs et Industriels Modernes, a founding moment for the Art Deco style. Louis Vuitton, already present at this exhibition, celebrates this page of history with an exhibition that retraces a century of design, elegance and shared creativity.

A return to the roots of an assertive aesthetic

As early as 1925, the Maison Louis Vuitton was an exhibitor at the Exposition des Arts Décoratifs, a historic commitment that marks its attachment to the movement from its very beginnings. Gaston-Louis Vuitton, grandson of the founder, collaborated with Art Deco artists such as Gaston Le Bourgeois, Pierre-Émile Legrain and Camille Cless-Brothier, giving the Vuitton style a major visual and decorative force.

Louis Vuitton Art Deco presents over 300 heritage pieces. Trunks, bags, clothes, rare objects and archives are displayed in eight immersive themed rooms, taking visitors on a journey through time and the imaginary world of Art Deco style. Geometric codes, precious or surprising materials, stylized shapes, a palette of dazzling colors, angular or curved lines, depending on the piece.

The thematic tour: eight stages in a century of style

Here are some of the themed rooms you won’t want to miss:

  • Heritage familial & Asnières: the origin, the workshops, the house, the original inspirations
  • 1925: Louis Vuitton’s consecration: reconstruction of the historic stand, photographs, diorama, authentic Art Deco atmosphere
  • Art Deco Manifesto: travel trunks, small leather goods, pieces that express the technical mastery of leather, canvas and geometric motifs.
  • Colors, Shapes, Materials: a space dedicated to visual experimentation, the combination of textures and the richness of precious materials.
  • Beauty in Travel: its travel archives, contemporary pieces created by modern designers, recalling the link between Louis Vuitton, travel and the adventure of luxury.

Why miss this exhibition?

Heritage & innovation: it’s rare to be able to contemplate so many Louis Vuitton heritage pieces. Some of them come from little-exhibited archives, revisited through a contemporary prism.

Immersive scenography: eight rooms to interact with style, textures, shapes and colors. You don’t just look…you feel.

Strong links with Paris: as LV Dream is located opposite the Samaritaine, right in the center, the exhibition is part of the architectural and cultural history of the 1ᵉʳ arrondissement. A place steeped in historybetween the quays of the Seine, department stores, art and luxury.

Accessible & free: no price barrier, just a reservation – allowing a wide audience to discover Louis Vuitton in a different light.
