La Nuit des Châteaux 2025: a magical journey to the heart of our heritage

On October 17, 18 and 19, 2025, the 7th edition of Nuit des Châteaux invites young and old alike to enjoy an unforgettable experience in nearly 100 monuments across France.

An event born of a passion for heritage

Created in 2019, this initiative has already attracted over 150,000 visitors to 300 partner castles in five European countries. The aim is clear: to help people rediscover heritage in a different way, by offering exceptional evenings that combine historical discovery and sensory emotions. La Nuit des Châteaux has established itself as an annual event combining culture, mystery and the pleasure of meeting new people.

Unique night-time experiences

Under the stars, visitors can stroll by torchlight through exceptional settings, attend live shows, listen to intimate concerts, take part in life-size Cluedos or enjoy a candlelit dinner in period settings. Each château will offer its own experience, adapted to its history and architecture. The atmosphere promises to be magical, with fairy-tale illuminations, storytelling, local tastings and night-time guided tours that plunge visitors into another time.

Île-de-France in the spotlight

This 7th edition promises to be particularly rich, highlighting the diversity of France’s heritage, from medieval fortresses to Renaissance mansions. In the Île-de-France region, several prestigious sites will be opening their doors, including Château de Vaux-le-Vicomte, Château de Vincennes, Château de Breteuil and Château de la Roche-Guyon. In and around Paris, the event attracts an ever-growing number of lovers of history and romance, who come to experience these suspended moments.

A commitment to heritage preservation

La Nuit des Châteaux is more than just a party: it has a strong heritage vocation. The profits raised go directly towards the restoration and upkeep of these monuments, which have been weakened by the passage of time. Every ticket purchased becomes a gesture of support for the preservation of France’s heritage.
