Bonne Heure: the cool new canteen in Pigalle

A generous terrace, an evolving menu and low prices: Bonne Heure ticks all the boxes to become SoPi’s flagship address.

Nestled in the heart of Pigalle, at the corner of several lively alleyways, Bonne Heure first catches the eye with its large, fir-green striped terrace. This former Dépanneur Terrasse has been reborn as a warm, accessible spot, open daily from 8am to 2am. Whether you’re looking for a quick breakfast, lunch in the shade of a tree or an extended aperitif, this address caters for all tastes without ruining your wallet.

A menu for every hour of the day

Inside (50 seats) and outside (60 seats), the ambience is carefully designed by DOD Architecte, known for its Parisian creations such as Bouillon Pigalle and Ardent. Wood panelling, stainless steel, mirrors and wine-red banquettes give the place a discreet but effective charm.

In the kitchen, chef Florent Durand orchestrates a menu that changes according to the time of day. In the morning, two formulas at 6.50€ and 8.50€ get the day off to a good start, with viennoiserie, eggs and a hot drink. At lunchtime, the bistro formulas are very affordable: €18 for starter/main course or main course/dessert, €23 for the whole meal. The menu changes daily, but features generous, well-thought-out dishes such as cream of asparagus with mint peas or trout gravlax with yuzu.

In the evening, the atmosphere becomes more festive. On the terrace, revisited tapas (beef tataki, grilled chorizo, hummus…) rub shoulders with mixologist François Acquaviva‘s house cocktails, such as Le Baiser de Pigalle, a blend of gin, strawberry and prosecco (€14). Craft beers and natural wines complete the offer.

What about weekends? Make way for the full brunch at €27, with a choice of savory dishes (mimosa eggs, smoked trout, etc.) and a homemade dessert. A good deal in a neighborhood where prices are rising fast.
