Ossip Zadkine and the Art Deco spirit: a tribute exhibition

From November 15, 2025 to April 12, 2026, the Musée Zadkine celebrates 100 years of Art Deco with a groundbreaking exhibition exploring the links between Ossip Zadkine and the decorative arts of the 1920s-1930s. Bringing together more than 90 works – sculptures, objects and furniture – the exhibition reveals the artistic dialogues the sculptor maintained with great decorators such as Eileen Gray and Marc du Plantier. Thanks to prestigious loans from the Musée des Beaux-Arts d’Anvers and the Mobilier National, this retrospective reveals a visionary Zadkine, passionate about materials and craftsmanship, whose mastery of direct carving embodies the spirit of Art Deco.
“Hearts without borders” – Xu Li & Qi Haifeng

For the first time in France, the Maison de l’Europe welcomes Xu Li and Qi Haifeng, two masters of contemporary Chinese painting and vice-presidents of the Association des Artistes de Chine, from November 18 to 28, 2025. The “Hearts Without Borders” exhibition features forty works in which East and West engage in dialogue, revealing the artists’ spiritual quest. Xu Li, a figure of Chinese realism, fuses calligraphy and oil painting, exploring Tibetan landscapes and meditative lotuses. His works can be found in prestigious collections in China and abroad, and sell for up to €450,000.
40 years of contemporary creation at the Fondation Cartier
