Coup de coeur for the high jewelry version of the Galette des rois at the Peninsula Paris
An exceptional galette by Anne Coruble

To celebrate Epiphany 2026, Le Peninsula Paris unveils a creation as majestic as it is gourmet: the “Joyau des Rois” galette, imagined by pastry chef Anne Coruble. Faithful to the spirit of tradition, yet resolutely contemporary, this galette surprises with its graphic twist design and flaky Viennese pastry, both crisp and moist. The frangipane at the heart of this creation marries toasted almond, fresh almond and orange blossom, offering a subtle, sunny mouthfeel. Designed to be shared by eight, it transforms a simple moment of tasting into a veritable festive ritual, in the purest tradition of French pastry-making.
A symbol of travel and elegance
Like all galettes worthy of the name, the “Joyau des Rois” hides an exclusive bean, designed as an invitation to escape. This poetic detail is in line with the Peninsula philosophy: to offer much more than a product, but a complete experience, imbued with refinement.
Available to order 72 hours in advance, this galette can be picked up in the majestic setting of Le Lobby restaurant, inside the 16th arrondissement palace. An address not to be missed for all lovers of refined sweets, top-of-the-range galettes in Paris, and moments shared around a creation as beautiful as it is good.
