Chinese New Year 2026 promises to liven up the Champs-Élysées to the rhythm of drums, lanterns and dragons. This year’s event features a parade where tradition and technology meet, in a festive, family-friendly setting. The program promises to be packed, with reception facilities designed to cope with large crowds.

A fashion show between heritage and innovation

According to the organizers, lion dance troupes, associations and musicians will form a colorful procession. Embroidered costumes, banners, floats and percussion instruments will lead the way. The Champs-Élysées avenue will be the backdrop for this urban ballet.

Arrive early for stress-free positioning, especially with children. Arriving 45 to 60 minutes before the start reduces the pressure. Have a plan B in case of rain or strong winds.
