February Lilac: the MÊME x Balzac Paris scarf brings style to solidarity
For February 2026, Parisian fashion house Balzac Paris has teamed up with MÊME, the brand dedicated to skin weakened by oncology treatments. Together, they have created a limited-edition scarf that speaks of beauty, but above all of courage.
In a studio bathed in light, a brown square is knotted at the nape of the neck, like a gesture of gentleness. On the cotton, touches of lilac and burgundy create an almost comforting pattern. This scarf, designed by MÊME and Balzac ParisThis scarf, designed by MÊME and Balzac Paris, accompanies the new edition of Février Lilas, a month dedicated to raising awareness of all cancers.
February Lilas, beyond Pink October
For the past three years, Février Lilas has been inviting French brands to talk about all cancers, all year round, and to donate part of their profits to the association of their choice. This approach is supported by Judith Levy and Juliette Couturier, co-founders of MÊME, who remind us that behind every ribbon there are women, men and stories.
In three campaigns, over 80,000 euros have already been donated to associations and institutions that support research and innovation in the service of patients. For the 2026 edition, a number of companies are answering the call, fromAvène to Pomponne, from BLISS to Belle&Rebelle, drawing a committed and very feminine map of France.
When MÊME and Balzac Paris imagine a manifesto scarf
For this new campaign, MÊME and Balzac Paris have chosen an everyday object, easy to give, easy to wear: a scarf. Conceived as a symbol of strength, bonding and gentleness, it accompanies women at every stage of their history with the disease, whether they’ve lost their hair, are in remission or simply in solidarity.
The carré can be draped around the face, tied at the waist or over a tote, and slipped into everyday looks. Its brown palette, warmed up with lilac and burgundy, makes it just as at home with a white, right-bank shirt as with an oversized knit sweater. The result is a quiet elegance, never flashy, but full of meaning.
A beautiful gesture, concrete support
Carrying a message ofhope and confidence, this scarf has been designed both to enhance an outfit and to help reclaim one’s image, at a time when the mirror is not always kind. It can also be worn by friends, sisters and mothers who wish to show their support without saying too many words.
In terms of commitment, the principle is clear: the scarf is free for purchases of €49 or more on the MÊME website and in participating pharmacies in February, or sold for €49 on the balzac-paris.comwith €10 donated to UNICANCER. All year round, MÊME donates 1% of its profits to cancer research.
