La Grande Cascade x TABLE: the chicest summer picnic in Paris

Lunch on the grass no longer has to be confined to a checkered tablecloth. With this basket from La Grande Cascade and TABLE, the art of picnicking becomes a gastronomic experience in its own right. A discreet tribute to nature, taste… and style.

A gourmet showcase in the heart of the Bois de Boulogne

From May 15, 2025, the legendary restaurant La Grande Cascade is offering a limited-edition picnic basket, created in conjunction with the TABLE brand. This duo combines haute cuisine and contemporary design, for a nomadic yet highly refined lunch. The address? A shady spot in the Bois de Boulogne. The ideal setting for a timeless interlude.

A star-studded menu designed with grass in mind

In charge of the meal: chef Frédéric Robert. His score is light and daring. On the menu: airy gougères, vermicelli salad with gambas and Thai spices, fusilli with caviar, lemon and vodka.
This is followed by a marine sequence: bun with crab, generous lobster roll and optional truffle brie. Elegance without compromise.

The sweet touch: pastry precision

Pastry chef Joris Vée brings the meal to a fine close. Two desserts designed for picnics: a chocolate-ginger chou and a lemon-yuzu sablé breton. The perfect balance between indulgence and freshness.

Design as meticulous as taste

The basket hides more than just a meal. It contains two hand-printed organic cotton napkins from TABLE’s Lipari collection. Every detail is meaningful, right down to the texture of the linen. A true aesthetic gesture, far from the disposable accessory.

Practical information

The basket is priced at €168 for two people. It includes half a bottle of champagne, and a choice of fresh orange juice or water. Orders must be placed 48 hours in advance, and picked up directly at La Grande Cascade, allée de Longchamp (Paris 16th).
