Moroccanoil: smelling your shampoo is the flex of summer

The legendary scent of Moroccanoil hair care products now has its own showcase. And long-time fans have made no mistake: L’Originale, the brand’s very first eau de parfum, is already the talk of the town.
A fragrance born of a cult
Since the launch of its iconic Huile de soin in 2008, Moroccanoil has carved out a special place for itself in bathrooms the world over. Far from being just a hair care product, it has established a signature scent that is instantly recognizable: a sensual blend of vanilla, spicy amber, wood, camellia and violet. The public kept asking for a long-lasting fragrance version. Now it’s here.
After several failed attempts, Carmen Tal – co-founder of the brand – finally found the right formula. L’Originale, a true tribute to the Mediterranean, evokes a sunny, salty warmth, like an olfactory memory of tanned skin and warm sand.
A muse with an intimate story
To embody this new fragrance, Moroccanoil called on Adria Arjona. The American-Puerto Rican actress, recently seen alongside Glen Powell in Tueur à gages, recounts a strong bond with the brand. When she was 15, her mother introduced her to Moroccanoil argan oil. The product changed her relationship with her curly hair. Better still, it changed her self-confidence.
Today, it’s that same scent, but now worn on the skin, that she celebrates. “I find myself projected into summer, under a blazing sun. This fragrance is my home,” she confides. A full circle, full of nostalgia and success.
A wake for summer (and beyond)
Designed to last, this eau de parfum allows Moroccanoil enthusiasts to extend their Moroccanoil experience well beyond their skincare routine. A logical extension of the brand’s universe, now as sensorial as it is cosmetic. Available now, L’Originale risks disappearing from the shelves as quickly as it arrived. A sunny fragrance, to be tested before it becomes impossible to find.
