The Plaza Athénée reopens its secret cinema…

A screen under the stars, a star-studded menu and a timeless cinematic ambience: the Plaza Athénée relaunches its cinema club for an edition more immersive than ever.

A summer ritual with a cult following

Every summer, the event plays to a packed house – or rather, a packed courtyard. The Plaza Cinéma Club, housed in the Cour Jardin of the Plaza Athénée, returns for a 4th edition from June 29 to July 6, 2025. Eight evenings, eight films, eight themed dinners to be experienced as a multi-course scenario. Each screening is transformed into a culinary performance, where the dishes – served to the rhythm of the scenes – create a multi-sensory narrative. The experience is unique in Paris.

And if this edition is eagerly awaited, it’s because it’s taking things to a whole new level: bold programming, immersive scenography and menus more inventive than ever. All, of course, in the legendary setting of the Avenue Montaigne palace.

A program that makes you travel… in your plate

Every evening, a cult film and a gastronomic menu inspired by its universe:

  • Indiana Jones opens the ball on June 29 with a gourmet archaeological voyage of taste – dates included.
  • On June 30, Sabrina honors Audrey Hepburn and her cooking apprenticeship in Paris.
  • On July 1, Casino Royale: caviar, vodka martinis and high-flying glamour.
  • On July 2, we’re back in Montmartre with Amélie Poulain, with her canaille dishes and sweet memories.
  • On July 3, Asterix and Obelix: Mission Cleopatra calls for a Gallic-Imperial banquet on the banks of the Nile.
  • On July 4, The Lord of the Rings inspires an epic tale of elven lembas and Shire beer.
  • On July 5, The Godfather 2 awakens Sicilian cuisine and a taste for power.
  • Finally, on July 6, Le Sens de la Fête closes the show with a meta nod to the art of Plaza-style service.

Price: €290 to €340 per person, including full menu, glass of champagne, hot drinks and wireless headphones for complete immersion in subtitled VO.

An experience reserved for a select few

You don’t come here by chance: places are limited, access is subject to online reservation, and the event is forbidden to children under 12. So it’s a select, curious and often loyal audience that flocks to this event every summer.

For one week, the Cour Jardin becomes the most elegant film set in Paris. The sound is broadcast through headphones, the service is meticulous, and the experience is halfway between a cinema and a gourmet theater.

Book now or regret it all summer long

Ticketing is already open via SevenRooms, and the event often sells out days in advance. The Plaza Cinéma Club is more than just summer entertainment. It’s a confidential ritual, halfway between the culinary arts and the 7th art, that Paris offers nowhere else.
