Fouquet’s launches a very private club… and it’s on a sports court

What if sport were to become the new trump card of Parisian luxury? By launching an ephemeral pickleball court in its Cour Miroir, Fouquet’s Paris is surprising, intriguing… and targeting a whole new audience.

Pickleball, an unexpected sport and new lifestyle obsession

Never heard of it? It’s time to fill the gap. Born in the United States, pickleball skilfully combines tennis, table tennis and badminton. Its promise: a dynamic game, accessible to all ages, playful, friendly and unintimidating, far removed from the competitive standards of traditional tennis.

Already a cult sport on the other side of the Atlantic, it’s beginning to win over Paris, provided it’s an elegant experience. And that’s precisely what the Hôtel Barrière Fouquet’s Paris is offering with its brand-new Fouquet’s Pickleball Club, open since June 3, 2025, for a limited time only.

A confidential playground in the heart of the Golden Triangle

Set up in the Cour Miroir, a haven of peace a stone’s throw from the Champs-Élysées, this ephemeral playground is one of the first of its kind in Paris. Open to hotel guests and non-hotel guests alike (from €160 for 1 hour for two), it transforms a simple game into an exclusive ritual.

Logotagged rackets and balls, towels and water bottles, access to the Spa Decorté changing rooms, made-to-measure service… here, everything is designed to combine sport and refinement. Privatizations possible, groups welcome: the address is just as suited to an executive afterwork as to a weekend for two.

Sport, then Spritz

Once the match is over, the experience doesn’t stop there. The Fouquet’s Pickleball Club is designed as a gateway to all the palace’s lifestyle venues: lunch on the terrace at Brasserie Fouquet’s, gourmet dinner at Joy’s, or cocktails on the rooftop Le Marta, overlooking the rooftops of Paris.

A subtle way ofanchoring sport in a global art of living, combining physical effort, culinary pleasures and hotel elegance.

A strategic and trendy positioning for Fouquet’s

This launch is not an isolated marketing coup. It is part of a series of initiatives undertaken with Entourage Paris, an agency specializing in confidential venues and atypical experiences. After the speakeasy Le Marta and its rooftop Jardin Suspendu, this pickleball court completes the Barrière group ‘s lifestyle offering in Paris.

The message is clear: luxury is no longer limited to fine dining and hushed suites. It now includes moments of play, sport and bonding – as long as they’re well staged.

Test it before it disappears

This field is only there for the summer season. And given the quiet but growing interest in this new venue, it’s a safe bet that the slots will fill up fast.
