What if weekends with baby could (finally) become a real moment of pleasure for everyone? A new initiative by Les Maisons de Campagne promises to be a game-changer for Parisian families looking for chic, fun getaways.
Les Maisons de Campagne, the smart alternative to the country house
Less than an hour from Paris, Les Maisons de Campagne has for several years been offering a very different vision of a weekend in the country. Gone are the days of overloaded suitcases and interminable journeys: here, everything is included, thought out and scripted, to enable every member of the family – even the smallest – to find his or her place.
For the summer of 2025, this promise of a slow family life will include two new offers: a Club des Minis at the Maison du Val and baby swimming sessions in the incredible pool at the Château de Villiers-le-Mahieu.
Baby swimmers in a castle? Yes, really.
Imagine a heated swimming pool set within the walls of an elegant château… and your baby’s first time in the water. That’s exactly what the Château de Villiers-le-Mahieu will be offering every Saturday morning from May 17, 2025.
Supervised by a professional, these 45-minute sessions welcome babies from 6 to 36 months, in a safe, sensory environment. A gentle first immersion, shared with parents, where water becomes a soothing playground.

Club des Minis: a gentle introduction to nature (and to independence)
Another address, another atmosphere: from June 14, the Maison du Val opens a Minis Club specially designed for 18 months – 4 years old. Two sessions are offered every Saturday, in the morning and early afternoon, in a fun and caring environment.
Designed in partnership with design brand Charlie Crane, this free club (included in the all-inclusive package) is fast becoming the darling of families who want to relax while their children explore.
On the program:
- Outdoor games and forest walks
- Sensory exploration of insects and flowers
- Nursery rhymes, storytelling, collage and painting
- Musical awakening and motor skills
