Frivole: the new place where Paris lets loose without complexes

Since June, a wind of freedom has been blowing through Parisian parties. With Fivole, nestled in La Maison Champs-Élysées but with its own luminous entrance, the Golden Triangle welcomes an address that shatters labels. Cocktail bar, elegant restaurant, confidential lounge: here, Paris is experienced without moderation, at all hours and in all its facets.
A free, sensual and (deliberately) frivolous space
The experience begins at the threshold: an irreverent neon sign invites us to forget convention. Inside, designers Fabien Chalard and Julien Geliot have imagined a chic, theatrical decor: enveloping velvet, subdued lighting, eighteenth-century nods to Marie-Antoinette, all in a deliberately unbridled but never vulgar atmosphere. The atmosphere changes with the day: elegant lunches on the terrace, stretching aperitifs, sensual cocktails and lively musical nights until late.
The menu: between refinement and gourmet provocation
The cuisine, orchestrated like a ritual of pleasure, ranges from lunch to dinner, with plates to share or signature dishes. Crunchy plum foie gras, salmon pizzette with dill, croque Frivole with truffled ham, or olive oil-basil stracciatella (a real killer): we pick, we taste, we come back.
Starters feature contrasts: glazed pea velouté with crispy egg, tuna tartar with verbena, or red mullet carpaccio with Espelette pepper.
The main courses assert a style all their own: beef filet Wellington, Frivole-au-vent de Saint-Jacques aux girolles, canette aux griottes, or a vegetarian version of ricotta-spinach ravioli. Special mention should be made of the weekly menu (from €39): a creative and comforting daily selection (lamb shoulder confit on Mondays, flank steak with chimichurri on Thursdays, etc.).
At weekends, it’s time for roast chicken, a chic version of Sunday lunch.
Cocktails: a wild mixology and a hedonistic menu
Behind the bar, Frivole’s real playground. Here, Chartreuse ambassador Rémy pushes creation to its furthest limits: sensory mocktails, narrative cocktails, spectacular glasses and botanical twists.
Not to be missed:
- Coupe Coquine: Armagnac, prosecco and rosemary mousse – to drink like a secret.
- Minuit à Deauville: calvados, Dom Bénédictine and orange blossom – sensual, enveloping.
- La Ravageuse: rhubarb, gin and lime – fresh, casual, almost cheeky.
The Salon Louis XIII: discreet luxury, rare pleasures
From September onwards, connoisseurs will have their own confidential hideaway: the Salon Louis XIII, dedicated to lovers of exceptional cognacs and rare cigars. A cozy place, reserved by membership or booking, for suspended moments among connoisseurs. An original idea for epicureans who reject the conformism of classic clubs.
Frivole, or how to reconcile Paris with itself
In a capital often torn between rigid excellence and soulless cool, FRIVOLE dares to reconcile everything: style and lightness, festivity and finesse, impertinence and detail. Here, you don’t come to consume: you come to live.
With this address, the Triangle d’Or, often considered to be too wise, rediscovers an extra soul, a taste for controlled risk-taking and a modern sensuality.
