99 Sushi Monaco unveils its summer terrace: Japanese gastronomy and refinement in the heart of Monaco

Monaco’s 99 Sushi Bar & Restaurant inaugurates its summer terrace. An elegant and intimate space to savor Japanese excellence in a confidential and refined setting.

Far from the touristy restaurants of the Riviera, 99 Sushi Monaco cultivates an idea of luxury that is hushed, demanding and discreet. Nestled in the heart of the restaurant, its new summer terrace, open from spring 2025, offers a genuine timeless interlude. It’s the ideal place to immerse yourself in Japanese gastronomic culture, with its blend of technical mastery and inventiveness.

A confidential oasis in the heart of Monaco

As soon as you step out onto the terrace, the mood is set: sleek furniture, touches of greenery, subdued lighting as night falls. The setting blends Zen aesthetics with Mediterranean sophistication. Only 35 covers: a conscious choice, to preserve privacy and guarantee an irreproachable quality of experience.

Located on the boulevard du Jardin Exotique, the terrace enjoys a quiet, leafy setting away from the hustle and bustle of the city center. An ideal enclave for lovers of serenity, rare products and haute cuisine.

A high-precision Japanese map

99 Sushi’s executive chef creates a menu inspired by Japanese kaiseki, while incorporating modern influences. Highlights include toro sashimi, gunkan with caviar, wagyu A5, langoustine tempura and nigiri with caramelized foie gras.

Summer creations, available exclusively on the terrace, enhance the experience: king crab with shiso, maki with candied yuzu, or Japanese-style sea bream ceviche. The presentation is graphic and precise, in the spirit of a culinary ceremony.

Rare sakes and a signature cocktail menu

The establishment offers a top-of-the-range selection of Japanese sakes, served by the glass or bottle, including confidential references such as Dassai 23. A menu of signature cocktails completes the offer, combining Japanese products with contemporary mixology techniques.

Special mention for the Kyoto Garden (Japanese gin, shiso, lychee), or the Matcha Highball, a fresh, herbaceous twist on a great classic.

An address for insiders only

Still discreet in Monaco, 99 Sushi caters to a discerning clientele, adept at sober, calm venues with a rigorous focus on the product. There’s no superfluous show here: the stage is set on the plate. A rarity in an environment where noisy concepts still dominate.
