From August 3 to 30, 2025, the Deauville-La Touques racecourse will host the prestigious Meeting de Deauville Barrière. A major event for racing fans. 16 days of competition, including 5 Group 1 events (Prix Rothschild, Jacques Le Marois…), bring together Europe’s finest horses and jockeys. Racing takes place on Tuesdays, Saturdays and Sundays, with festive Thursday nights featuring live music, family entertainment, foodtrucks and a convivial atmosphere.

Deauville is gearing up for the American Film Festival to be held from September 6 to 14, 2025. The program is packed with previews, tributes, independent films and major US productions. In the meantime, the Ciné-Club Barrière returns from July 25 to 27, in an intimate format at the Hôtel du Golf. Comfortable armchairs, popcorn, champagne and headphones plunge you into an unprecedented cinematic interlude, in the presence of big names in the 7ᵉ art.

Beaches and festivities: classical and electro music in August

Deauville’s beaches, bordered by Les Planches and its iconic cabins, offer a chic seaside setting from the moment you arrive. But in August, the town also vibrates to the rhythm of two major festivals:

• From July 31 to August 9, make way for the Août Musical, a chamber music festival organized in conjunction with Casino Barrière, bringing together young virtuosos and discerning music lovers. Resort guests can take advantage of 10 free tickets for the concerts each evening.
• On August 9 and 10, Deauville gets electrified with the launch of the Garten Beach Music Festival: sunset sets at the Villa sur la Plage, electro lives at Clairefontaine, and exclusive afters at the Casino’s 02 Sofa Bar. Bon Entendeur, Ofenbach, Feder and other DJ stars are expected to rock the Normandy coast.
• From July 27 to 29, the Hôtel Barrière Le Normandy will host an exceptional event: the Patrouille de France will be present for a prestigious event featuring a Mirage F1 simulator, discussions with the pilots and a private cocktail. A rare immersion in the world of aviation.
