Messika sets up in India: a jewellery ambition to conquer New Delhi

Maison Messika continues its international expansion with the opening of a boutique in New Delhi. A strategic step into the booming Indian luxury market.
Already well-established on several continents, Messika has taken a new step by setting up shop in India. The famous Parisian jewelry house has inaugurated a boutique in New Delhi, in the heart of the prestigious The Chanakya shopping mall, a symbol of refinement in the Indian capital. This project marks not only a turning point for the brand, but also a strategic foray into a high-potential market.
A Parisian jewel in the Indian capital
The 68 m² boutique perfectly embodies Messika’s identity: between modernity and Parisian chic. A gilded marble façade, refined lounge, textured wallpaper… everything has been designed to offer an experience as aesthetic as it is warm. Emblematic pieces are on display, including the Move collection, which has become a Messika signature.
The move is part of a drive to offer Indian customers a vision of luxury jewelry in line with local expectations, while preserving the brand’s Parisian DNA.
A strategic opening
To make this move a success, Messika has joined forces with Ethos Lifestyle, a subsidiary of the Ethos Limited group, India’s leading watch retailer. Present in over 24 cities, Ethos boasts a solid network and in-depth knowledge of the local market. A natural alliance, therefore, to support the House’s development on the sub-continent.
“Making my debut in India has always been a dream of mine,” said brand founder Valérie Messika at the inauguration. The event was also attended by actor Ishaan Khatter, Bollywood’s rising star, wearing a Messika Move necklace.
A discreet link with Paris
While this opening marks an expansion into Asia, Paris remains Messika’s creative base. Each new international boutique contributes to spreading Parisian elegance, even thousands of kilometers away. Parisians will find this shared aesthetic in local boutiques, notably the one on rue Saint-Honoré, not far from the world-famous Palais Royal, a mecca for discreet luxury.
