Maison&Objet 2025: the return of Parisian design between trends and young talent

From September 4 to 8, 2025, Maison&Objet returns to Paris Nord Villepinte. A major event where the major trends in design, decoration and the art of living take shape.

This autumn, Paris becomes more than ever the capital of design thanks to Maison&Objet 2025. More than 60,000 professionals – distributors, architects, editors and specifiers – are expected to discover the latest trends in decoration, furniture and tableware. The event confirms its status as an international showcase and springboard for young designers.

Mocha Mousse: the Pantone 2025 color

Even before you enter the salon, one hue sets the tone: Mocha Mousse, voted Pantone color 2025. This rosy brown, a subtle blend of velvety cocoa and antique porcelain, embodies a need for intimacy and comfort. Already spotted on the catwalks of Prada and Saint Laurent, it promises to be a common thread running through the season, from interior design to fashion.

Factory and young brands

Among the key events, the Factory spaces offer a stage to over forty young brands. Factory by Ulule explores the world of children and tableware, while Factory by Paris Design Week continues this dynamic in the Design District. These spaces combine creativity and professionalism, giving visibility to a new generation of editors and designers.

Talks and inspirations

The show is also an agora of ideas thanks to its conferences. Of particular note: on September 7 at 3pm, the discussion “Japon, fantasme éternel du design”, with Gwenaël Nicolas, José Lévy and Denis Montel, moderated by Danièle Gerkens(ELLE Décoration). These forward-looking exchanges provide food for thought on today’s cultural and aesthetic influences.

Carte blanche to Julien Sebban

This year, designer Julien Sebban (Uchronia) has been given carte blanche. With Hotel Uchronia, a 200 m² installation in Hall 6, he reinvents hospitality by mixing a late-night café-bar, a metamorphosed room and a sports-garden area. A surreal scenography where the ordinary becomes extraordinary.
