RH Paris: the new cathedral of design on the Champs-Élysées

American brand RH (Restoration Hardware) inaugurates a hybrid space combining design, gastronomy and art de vivre at 23 avenue des Champs-Élysées, from September 5, 2025.
The Champs-Élysées are home to a spectacular new address. RH Paris, the first French gallery for Californian brand Restoration Hardware, opens its doors on the site of the former Abercrombie & Fitch store. This unusual space is conceived as an architectural manifesto: 7 levels, 3,900 m², a secret garden, a design studio, two restaurants and a scenography worthy of the greatest museums.
As soon as you enter, you’re struck by the proportions: monumental gilded doors, a five-meter medallion, an open-air garden, sculptures and pieces of furniture that speak of an American art of living. But Californian luxury is neither ostentatious nor cold. It’s uncluttered and warm, with an aesthetic between rustic chic and modern refinement.
An immersive space combining design and gastronomy
The RH Paris experience is resolutely sensory. Each floor is conceived as a gallery where objects – armchairs, lighting fixtures, carpets, textiles – become the actors in a stage production. Thecentral glass elevator, the backbone of the building, guides visitors on a vertical journey to the heart of international design.
The visit continues at table. On the second floor, Jardin RH offers American-Mediterranean cuisine in a glass roof inspired by the Grand Palais. Upstairs, the rooftop Le Petit RH offers a 360° panoramic view of Paris, with a menu focusing on seafood, caviar and grands crus, in a decor of blown glass and champagne lacquer.
A Californian vision of luxury in the heart of Paris
RH Paris also offers a complete interior design studio, complete with private room, materials library and personalized advice. A made-to-measure approach, rare on an avenue often reserved for mass retail.
