Dior Maison launches “Make My Own Table”: personalization invites itself to tableware

The House of Dior extends its personalization service to Limoges porcelain tableware with a new offering that combines traditional craftsmanship with French art de vivre. An initiative that highlights the excellence of luxury tableware in Paris.

The House of Dior is continuing its strategy of extending its made-to-measure services with “Make My Own Table”, a device that lets customers personalize plates, cups and sugar bowls. This offer, now available in selected Dior boutiques, reaffirms the brand’s commitment to a global vision of luxury, where every everyday object can become a symbol of elegance.

The pieces are made from Limoges porcelain, a material renowned for its finesse, strength and prestige. Two of the house’s iconic motifs are featured: Cannage, directly inspired by the Napoleon III chairs at 30 avenue Montaigne, and Toile de Jouy, a print adopted by Christian Dior in 1947 and modernized by Maria Grazia Chiuri.

A palette of 35 colors for unique tableware

The tableware can be customized in 35 shades, from azure blue to grass green, from soft tones like powder pink to more intense ones like poppy red. This service is in line with the trend towards premiumization of utilitarian objects, which today take on an emotional and heritage dimension.

In Paris, several boutiques offer this service, reinforcing the capital’s place in the global luxury and art of living landscape. An opportunity for design and craftsmanship enthusiasts to acquire unique pieces, fashioned at the crossroads of Dior history and French know-how.

A booming market for luxury brands

The luxury tableware segment is enjoying sustained growth, estimated at between +4.5% and +6% per year until 2030. Leading names such as Dior and Hermès are investing massively, betting on the boom in high-end hotels, the digitization of offerings and the upscaling of domestic uses. Hermès has even launched a new factory in Limoges, proof of the strategic interest in this sector.

True to its DNA, Dior has succeeded in combining heritage and innovation. With “Make My Own Table”, the House transforms the act of setting a table into a gesture of style and identity, perfectly in tune with the new expectations of a demanding clientele.
