La Fête des Puces 2025 in Saint-Ouen: a paradoxical evening

The Paul Bert Serpette market invites you to join us on Thursday, September 25, 2025 to celebrate the Fête des Puces in Saint Ouen. An evening where art and design reinvent themselves.

This year, the famous Fête des Puces de Saint-Ouen has chosen paradox as its theme, entrusting its scenography to the Uchronia collective, led by architect and designer Julien Sebban.

The Puces, a place of intuition and surprises, lends itself perfectly to this game between reason and chance. While some come for a Pierre Paulin armchair, they often leave with an unexpected piece: a Brutalist sculpture, a Grand Tour bust or an 18th-century Venetian chair.

Uchronia’s scenographic journey

For five days, from September 25 to 29, 2025, visitors will discover 10 stands transformed by Uchronia along the aisles of Paul Bert Serpette. Three monumental installations will greet the public at the entrances:

• Inflatable antiquity, where classical columns and statues interact with the lightness of inflatable material.
• Over-sized domestic objects, transforming vases and amphorae into giant totems.
• Levitating chairs, tracing the design evolution of this iconic piece of furniture.

These works question our relationship with objects and their memory, between permanence and ephemerality.

Prestigious guests of honor

To enrich this experience, several personalities from the world of art and design will contribute their insights:

• Gilbert Kann, collector and art consultant.
• Cordelia de Castellane, artistic director of Dior Home and Baby Dior.
• Pierre Frey, representative of the eponymous textile house.

Each will create an original installation in collaboration with market vendors.

A festive evening just outside Paris

In addition to the decorations, the Fête des Puces offers food and drink outlets and DJ sets to prolong the evening in a convivial atmosphere. The 350 Paul Bert Serpette dealers, specializing in art and design objects, will exceptionally open their doors in the evening.

For Parisians, this event represents an artistic and festive escape just a few minutes from the capital, an ideal cultural extension after a stroll in Montmartre or an outing in the north of Paris.
