Réalités Altérées: the art fair to see this weekend in Paris
A weekend of contemporary art with the Réalités Altérées exhibition at the Parc André Citroën.
Until October 12, 2025, the Serre de l’Orangerie in the Parc André Citroën will be hosting Réalités Altérées, the major event in Figurative Destructuralism. More than 120 international artists present their works, offering visitors a plunge into a universe where reality and imagination mix.
The vernissage, scheduled for October 4 from 6pm to 9pm, officially launches this event, which promises to be one of the highlights of the Parisian cultural autumn.
A show that questions our vision of the world
Paintings, sculptures, photographs, digital installations… The exhibition offers a diversity of media to explore the many facets of human identity. The artists manipulate figurative forms and representations to give a fresh reading of reality.
The themes addressed are varied: non-human entities, resonant faces, evanescent silhouettes, serenades of bodies, curves of existence or mosaics of identities. These are just some of the ways in which the viewer’s gaze is challenged and his or her certainties shaken.
Muhammad Yakin, guest of honor
This edition features Muhammad Yakin, an Indonesian artist born in 1992. His black-and-white graphic universe plays on contrasts, tensions and shadows. Winner of several awards, including the UOB Painting of the Year prize in 2019 and 2024, he offers a visual language of great intensity, between doubt and certainty.
A not-to-be-missed weekend event in Paris
Located in the 15th arrondissement, the Serre de l’Orangerie in the Parc André Citroën offers a unique setting for this artistic encounter. Accessible by metro or family outing in the park, the exhibition combines cultural discovery and relaxation.
For art lovers and the curious alike, this is a great opportunity to discover a booming contemporary movement, while enjoying an original cultural outing in Paris this weekend.
