Le Meurice celebrates the culinary arts: an exceptional encounter between Quique Dacosta and Amaury Bouhours

In a capital that this autumn is abuzz with Art Basel Paris, Paris Photo and Design Miami, Le Meurice has also chosen to celebrate art. But here, it’s in the plates that creation expresses itself. The Rue de Rivoli palace brings together two virtuosos of contemporary gastronomy: Quique Dacosta, three-starred Spanish chef, and Amaury Bouhours, Executive Chef of Le Meurice Restaurant Alain Ducasse, for two unique dinners on November 13 and 14, 2025. in partnership with Dom Pérignon.

When gastronomy becomes art

Under the watchful eye of Dom Pérignon, the two chefs, members of the Dom Pérignon Society, orchestrate a four-handed culinary dialogue. Their menu, imagined as a sensory experience, explores the tactile dimension of taste. Here, touch becomes language, revealing the texture, density and fluidity of Dom Pérignon champagnes, from Vintage 2015 to Rosé 2009, to the exceptional Vintage 2006 Plénitude 2.

Two visions, one creative inspiration

For Quique Dacosta, cooking is a work of art. From his three-star restaurant in Dénia, on the Mediterranean coast, he creates dishes like landscapes, blending sea, light and emotion. In Paris, Amaury Bouhours continues Alain Ducasse’s philosophy of sublimated products, precise gestures and lasting memories. Between them, there’s an obvious affinity: innovation and respect for the terroir.

A menu in six beats, a score for four hands

Their collaboration will take the form of a menu in six acts, punctuated by an original creation based around lobster, the symbol of their link to the sea. Their worlds – one Mediterranean and sensual, the other French and structured – intertwine in a dialogue of balance and contrast. In the dining room, Olivier Bikao and head sommelier Gabriel Veissaire will guide guests on a sensory journey where each champagne becomes a note, each dish a texture.

At Le Meurice, everything becomes aesthetic: the table, the light, the gesture. This four-hands dinner goes beyond the simple gastronomic experience, it’s a celebration of taste as a vector of emotion, a tribute to creation in all its forms.
